Harry Potter fans have two reasons to celebrate this summer

The conclusion to the Harry Potter movie series, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, will be released in theatres on July 15. The 3D format allows fans to interact with the characters like never before.

Harry Potter: The Exhibition, currently on display at the Discovery Times Square museum, is another great way Harry Potter fans can get up close and personal with the storyline that has captivated millions all over the world. The exhibiton is on its final North American stop and showing for a limited engagement only, through September 5th, before heading overseas. Located at 226 West 44th Street, between 7th and 8th Avenues, it is conveniently located near the heart of Times Square in New York City.

As their press release explains, "In partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products, Global Experience Specialists, Inc. (GES) created the 14,000-square-foot experiential exhibition, where visitors will be able to visit dramatic displays inspired by the Hogwarts film sets and see the amazing craftsmanship behind authentic costumes and props from the films. Original artifacts from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1 and the highly anticipated finale, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows- Part 2, will be on display along with hundreds of original props and costumes from all of the previous Harry Potter films.

Harry Potter: The Exhibition offers fans a firsthand view of hundreds of authentic artifacts displayed in settings inspired by the film sets�including the Great Hall, Hagrid's hut, the Gryffindor common room�and more. While touring through the exhibition space, discover iconic items such as Harry's original wand and eyeglasses, the Marauder's Map, Gryffindor school uniforms as well as costumes worn at the Yule Ball. Enter the Quidditcharea and toss a Quaffle, pull your own Mandrake in the Herbology vignette, encounter Buckbeakthe Hippogriff and even a giant Acromantula spider.

The exhibition requires a time-entry ticket and guests are encouraged to purchase their tickets early to ensure the best date and time. General public admission to Harry Potter: The Exhibition is $25 for adults; $22.50 for seniors (65 and over) and $19.50 for children (4-12); children under 4 years of age are free."

The exhibit allows patrons to travel through the different story scenarios, timelines, and locations, as well as having lots of hands on exhibits for the kids to enjoy. See authentic costumes from the movies and true to life replicas of all your favorite characters and film sets. At the end of the experience visitors can take home a souvenir photo taken in front of a Harry Potter backdrop.
